CHAIRMAN’S MESSAGE

It is with great sense of pride that I state the track record of the Chamber of Young Lankan Entrepreneurs (COYLE) spans for almost 18 years. Our vibrant and dynamic chamber has achieved great heights in this short journey.  Our voice has become stronger, significant and persuasive over the years and our vision is for a better future. My gratitude to our past Chairman who proceeded me. I must admit that their hard work, and commitment has left a legacy for COYLE. It is my privilege as the current Chairman, to take COYLE into higher level of prosperity. I believe that we should collectively contribute towards achieving sustainable development goals of Sri Lanka. We must take the responsibility to ensure consumption of natural resources and produce goods and services that improve the quality of life.  It’s my belief that each one of us must think beyond our comfort zone and take action to combat climate change and its impacts. We, as the private sector have a significant role to play in providing decent work for the citizens of our country.   Business and our governments must work together to craft our own future, our destiny and our country.

We are incomparable in our commitment to national issues and no other business Chamber in the country works as intensely as we do with the government. We engage broadly on issues which affect our membership, our community and our country. Our love for our nation is our guiding light, our moral compass and ethical framework that drives us to work together to make Sri Lanka put back on the map again as the pearl of the Indian Ocean.

My dream is, to see Sri Lankan built local brands globally. We will learn, share our experiences among our membership, achieve a spirit of excellence and place our mark on the world map.

The fruit of our labour would be enjoyed by our children someday.

Mr.Kushan Kodituwakku

Chairman (2017-18)
